Day 16: 30 Day Disney Challenge

Day 16:  Favorite Classic - "Dumbo"

"And now, I present to you the world's smallest little elephant...Ladies and gentlemen, I give you...Dumbo!" - Ringmaster

So I have already explained why I love "Dumbo" so much on Day 6 of the 30 Day Disney Challenge, but let me reiterate:

What's not to love about Dumbo? He is absolutely precious!  Dumbo is one of my all time favorite Disney movies. (Check out this blog post to read more about why I enjoy this Disney classic so much, and the cool ways that you can enjoy this classic in Walt Disney World.) The mother/child relationship displayed in this movie is one of the sweetest, and most emotional relationships seen in Disney movies. This 1941 film is the 4th full-length animated film from The Walt Disney Company.

Here is a little list of the Dumbo-themed fun you can experience at WDW Magic Kingdom in the New Fantasyland!

*Dumbo the Flying Elephant - This ride is a classic!  Disney has recently renovated this ride to include two carousels of flying pachyderms.

*Big Top waiting area - Now you get to enjoy an air conditioned play area full of Dumbo-themed fun while you wait for your ride aboard the flying elephants.

*Big Top Souvenirs - A souvenir shop just opened on Sept. 30th, 2012 in the Big Top area.  They offer awesome Dumbo souvenirs and snacks.  They have even themed the displays to look like Casey Jr.'s train cars!

*Casey Jr. Splash 'n' Soak Station - There is also an area in Fantasyland for the kids to have a little fun while they cool off.  The Casey Jr. Splash 'n' Soak Station is a splash park (no bathing suit necessary) that looks like the famed train from Dumbo!

I cannot wait to experience all of the new Dumbo fun at Magic Kingdom with my kids!

HAVE A MAGICAL DISNEY DAY!
