On the Twelfth day of Christmas...Disney gave to me:

The Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade!

On Christmas Day, Disney gives us a magical treat!  Everyone gets to go to Walt Disney World!  Through their TV's, that is.  Tune in to the Christmas Day Parade on ABC to experience some Disney magic with your family.  The parade airs at 10 am Eastern, 9 am Central, Mountain & Pacific.  My DVR is set to record it, so that we can enjoy the magic together after the gifts have been opened.

On the Tenth day of Christmas...Disney gave to me:

Ten Icing-Covered Fingers!

Have you seen this awesome Mickey Gingerbread House kit?
The kit comes with classic Mickey shaped candies, Mickey and Minnie windows and everything else you will need  to make this precious decoration.  No baking, no fuss, just fun!

My kids and I just put one of these cute gingerbread houses together.  It was easy and so much fun!

On the Ninth day of Christmas...Disney gave to me:

Nine-thousand Snowflakes!

Where else can you enjoy south Florida weather while experiencing the magic of Christmas snow?  Only in Walt Disney World!

On select nights throughout November and December, the Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  This event is complete with a Christmas Parade, Holiday Wishes nighttime spectacular, cookies with hot cocoa, Santa Claus and snowflakes falling on Main Street!

Ahhh...you've got to love it when Christmas and Disney magic combine!  Truly special!

On the Eighth day of Christmas...Disney gave to me:

Eight Jammin' Pals!


That would be Mickey and his seven closest friends, in Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade at Animal Kingdom!

Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade is an absolute blast!  This parade at Animal Kingdom is a fun, Christmas version of the usual Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade.  It takes place in the middle of the day, and it features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale!  So get a good viewing spot, and yell out a big "Merry Christmas" to your favorite Disney pals!

12 Disney Days of Christmas...Day 7

On the Seventh Day of Christmas...Disney gave to me:

Seven hundred candles!

Epcot's Candlelight Processional is a favorite Walt Disney World holiday tradition for many!

The Candlelight Processional is performed nightly (three times a night on most nights) from late November to December 30th.  A mass choir comprised of cast members, guest choirs and The Voices of Liberty is accompanied by a 50 piece orchestra.  This 50 minute show includes beautiful Christmas carols and the telling of the Christmas story.  Throughout November and December, many celebrities come to Disney World to narrate this popular event in the America Gardens Theatre.  The 2012 narrators consist of 13 celebrities  including Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, Blair Underwood, Jodi Benson, Amy Grant and more.

On the Sixth day of Christmas...Disney gave to me:

Six hours of Santa!


The Santa Clause trilogy has become a well-loved Christmas staple in many homes.

You better think twice

My favorite of the three is definitely the original, "The Santa Clause."  When it first came out, I had a hard time "buying into" Tim Allen as Santa.  However, as time has passed, and the movies have been watched over and over again, I have grown to LOVE Tim Allen in this role.

On the Fifth Day of Christmas...Disney gave to me:

FIVE MILLION LIGHTS!!!

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios boasts 5 million colorful Christmas lights!  Amazing!

Since 1995, this 10 minute light show synchronized to music has been delighting Walt Disney World vacationers.  Some nights, the show is even topped off with magical snow flurries!

The next time you get to experience the Osborne Family Lights, make sure you look for the elusive purple cat.  He hides in a different spot each year.

This holiday season, you can catch this fantastic light show until January 6, 2013.

12 Disney Days of Christmas...Day 4

On the Fourth Day of Christmas...Disney gave to me:

Four animated Christmas movies!


I am well aware that there are more than four animated, Disney Christmas movies.
However, these four movies are the ones that have been played in my house a hundred times this month.

"Mickey's Christmas Carol"
was a favorite of mine as a child, and I absolutely LOVE sharing this movie with my kids.

"Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas"
is a fun collection of animated stories starring Mickey and his pals.  

"Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas"
is another fun collection of Christmas shorts starring our favorite Disney characters.

"Winnie the Pooh, and Christmas Too"
is one that my kids could watch over and over again.

On the Third Day of Christmas...Disney gave to me:

Three Ornaments for my tree!

The blanket wrapped around baby Mickey on this ornament has a soft, fuzzy texture.

I just love how the ornament that Mickey is sitting on is shaped like a classic Mickey!

This ornament has a cool little surprise on the back...a tiny Tinkerbell!

I absolutely LOVE this collection of Walt Disney World ornaments on my tree!  My parents bought us these ornaments on our Christmas Disney trip in 2010.  One for the hubby and me, one for our oldest son, and one for our youngest (who I was pregnant with at the time).  They make me smile every year!

Disney is going to be "Frozen" next year!

Disney's 53rd Full-Length Animated Theatrical Feature is set to hit the big screen next year.

"Frozen"

"Frozen" will take us on a journey with Anna & Kristoff as they seek out the Snow Queen, Elsa.

This first peak at "Frozen" is absolutely beautiful, and it has such a wonderful feeling of fantasy!

I cannot wait to see this!

I just love this new addition to our Christmas decorations!  I found this at Walgreen's in November in the clearance section for only $2!  Love it!  It makes my kiddos so happy every time we pass it when walking to the front door.

Have you tried these yet???

I found the Mickey Mouse Peeps at Walgreen's Pharmacy, and they are so big!  Much larger than your average Peep.

I have seen the Pillsbury Mickey Mouse sugar cookies at several grocery stores.  These are awesome and easy!  Kids love them (and so do I)!  I have taken them to several Christmas events already, for the kids to enjoy.
